Operation Finally Home is a national, non-profit organization that works with experienced homebuilders to build mortgage-free, custom homes for wounded and ill veterans and their families. From its beginning in 2005, Operation Finally Home has completed more than 230 homes for America’s heroes and the widows of the fallen. In 2015, with the support of the community and our partners, Goodall Homes was honored to provide retired veteran Joe James, U.S. Army Sgt First Class, and his family with a mortgage-free, brand new, custom Goodall home. Joe lost both his legs while serving in the Middle East. Nothing can truly make up for the sacrifice that our country’s soldiers make every day to protect our nation and our freedoms. Our role in Operation Finally Home is just one way we can demonstrate our respect and appreciation.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee works tirelessly to put an end to the hunger issues in the community. Just last year, Second Harvest Food Bank distributed more than 26 million meals to hungry children, seniors, and families throughout Middle Tennessee. Goodall Homes was proud to have sponsored the Summer Feeding Program—Hunger-Free Summer— for many years and to continue providing meals to children after the school year has ended.
Habitat for Humanity is a global, non-profit housing organization that provides a home for people and families in need of decent and affordable housing. Goodall Homes gladly volunteers our skills and resources to Habitat for Humanity, and actively supports their vision of building “strength, stability, and self-reliance” in the 1,400 communities across the nation.
Goodall Homes is proud to give back to the communities where we live and work. Take a look at just a few of the organizations that we have volunteered our time and provided charitable donations to:
