Based on its unemployment rate, median household income, and cost of living, among other factors, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine ranks the following US cities as the top 6:

1. Omaha, Nebraska
2. Charlotte, North Carolina
3. NASHVILLE, TENNESEE
4. Colorado Springs, Colorado
5. Knoxville, Tennessee
6. Lexington, Kentucky
